Marjolaine Choquette is Yves Choquette and Anita Paquette's daughter.  In her family, there have been generations of military : her grand-father, Lucien, was part of the army's medical corps in WW I, her father, Yves, was part of the Royal 22nd Regiment in WW II, and Marjolaine herself was in the army between 1975 and 1984 and between 1990 and 1994.  Today, her niece is undergoing militia training at Canadian Forces Base in Valcartier, Quebec.
